Michael Aquino

Michael Aquino joined Carnrite Ventures as Vice President in 2020. He focuses on transaction due diligence, analytics and execution and monitoring active portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Carnrite, Michael was a Private Equity Associate at Carnelian Energy Capital Management, L.P., where he supported the origination of new investment opportunities and executed all aspects of the investment process with responsibilities encompassing due diligence, modeling, transaction structuring and the investment committee approval process. Prior to Carnelian, Michael was an analyst in the Energy M&A group at Evercore, where he gained experience working on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic advisory assignments for clients across the upstream sector.
Michael holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
