Nolan King
Managing Director
Nolan is a Senior Director in Alvarez and Marsal’s Energy practice. While Carnrite Group is integrated into Alvarez and Marsal, Nolan will continue to serve as a Managing Director of the firm. Nolan initially joined Carnrite Group as a Senior Consultant in 2013. During his time at Carnrite Group, he supported and led a variety of complex consulting engagements. Most recently, Nolan was head of Carnrite Group’s Performance Improvement practice. He has over 20 years of experience in industry roles and management consulting and has a strong track record of delivering value to clients. His experience spans the oil and gas, chemical, distribution and logistics, warehousing, and transportation industries.
Nolan has managed enterprise-level projects to establish governance programs, redesign organizational structures, program manage ERP implementations, install corporate performance metrics, design business plans, overhaul internal reporting practices, streamline cross-functional process workflows, design and deliver leadership development programs, develop and execute procurement strategies, and reduce operating expenses. Prior to joining Carnrite in 2013, Nolan’s consultancy background was concentrated in supply chain management and optimization, including long-term engagements with RGP at companies such as Chevron and Marathon Oil. Nolan began his career as an Industrial Engineer with UPS, before moving into procurement and logistics roles.
Nolan holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from the University of Houston, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
