Geoff Angulo
Managing Director
Geoff Angulo is a Senior Director in Alvarez and Marsal’s Energy practice. While Carnrite Group is integrated into Alvarez and Marsal, Geoff will continue to serve as a Managing Director of the firm. Geoff led Carnrite Group’s Strategy & Transactions practice, which delivers projects spanning corporate strategy, transaction due diligence, and merger and acquisition integration. Previously, Geoff was tasked with building and maintaining Carnrite’s brand and relationships within the private equity and hedge fund communities. Geoff worked in partnership with other members of the Carnrite Group’s business development team to identify challenges faced by the firm’s industrial, energy and financial partners and explored ways Carnrite Group could provide assistance.
Prior to joining Carnrite Group, Geoff was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies Group LLC, a multinational independent investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City. Geoff led the execution of more than $38 billion of oil and gas industry transactions, including asset acquisitions/dispositions, corporate acquisitions, basin and asset level joint ventures, and corporate finance transactions. Geoff managed multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of all aspects of transactions, including marketing, valuation, technical story, financial modeling, dataset organization, and diligence. Geoff began his career in management consulting with Sterling Consulting Group.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
