Rachel Augustin

Rachel Augustin is a leader in data informatics, with extensive experience marrying business strategy and data/technology strategy to deliver customized solutions, recommendations, and insights to organizations. She has a background in public health with expertise in analyzing large-scale data using statistical and machine learning methodologies, managing end-to-end product development, and executing research and evaluation studies.
Before joining The Carnrite Group, Rachel developed a data management plan for a multi-million-dollar U.S. Department of Defense project across multiple sites. Rachel also conducted a longitudinal evaluation and data analysis for the University of Pennsylvania. She has also worked as a data strategist for a Behavioral Health Medicaid Managed Care Organization (BH-MCO) in Philadelphia, PA. As a data strategist, she addressed barriers to interoperability of electronic health record (EHR) data needed for research and operational purposes, developed technical requirements documents, supported data management and restructuring of the BH-MCO’s enterprise data warehouse, and extracted data for analysis and reporting. In prior roles, Rachel has provided technical assistance to healthcare stakeholders on improving data structure to ensure data accuracy and created data dashboards and visualizations.
Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University and a Master of Public Health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. She is currently completing a doctoral program in Health Management and Policy at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health.
